Easy Homeruns
When you come to bat, hold the analog stick diagonally up and left and press the B button. If your position is correct you will hit a homerun most of the time.
Three Ball Count
Hold L+R+Z and press Up, Down while in the batters box.
Instant Three Outs
Hold L+R+Z and press Down,Up.
Instant Strikeout
Hold L+R+Z and press Right, Up, Right, Up.
Increase Score x 1
To increase the home team score by one hold L+R+Z and press C-Left twice. To increase the away team score by 1 hold L+R+Z and press C-Right twice.
Hit a homer
Hold L+R+Z and press Left, Up, Left, Up when your batter is in the batter's box but has not recieved the first pitch.

Hidden clip birth of Sledgehammer
On the main menu, go to the CHAPTERS section. Once there, highlight Working Heel. Press LEFT or RIGHT on your remote to see a hidden clip about Triple H's sledgehammer.

Homerun sounds
Press X when you hit a homerun and a foghorn will sound in the stands.
Big bat
Hit two consecutive home runs.
Big ball
Get three strike outs in one game.
Bigger ball
Get six strike outs in one game.
Big glove
Catch a homerun as it is going over the fence.
Fast players
Steal three bases with the same player in one game.
Small players
Get over eleven hits in one game.
Super defense
Execute three double plays in one game.
Triple Play Baseball
Grand slam batter
Create a player and enter "SLUGGER" as a name. He will always hit a grand slam if batting with the bases loaded.
110 mph pitches
Create a player and enter "STRONG ARM" as a name.
Homerun sounds
While running around the bases after hitting a homerun, press Triangle to hear a soft horn, Square to hear a loud horn, or Circle to hear a whistle.
Unknown
While playing a game, hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press Up, Triangle, Right, Circle. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound.
Allstars
Go to the team selection screen. Hold R1 + R2 + L2 + l1 and press Up, Triangle, Right and Circle to unlock the teams of the allstars from 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. When you have done this action correct, you will hear a sound.
Triple Play 2002
Scoring
If it is going to be a close play at the plate for your base runner, tap Down repeatedly to barrel into the catcher. The collision may knock the ball loose.
Batting
The closer you get the center of your batting cursor to the center of the ball, the more power you get out of your swing.
Throws
Aggressive throws are by nature less accurate than normal throws. Save them for when you have to make the big play.
Pitching
Keep an eye on the pitcher's energy level. When the pitcher gets tired, consider bringing in a reliever. The more heat he throws, the more tired your pitcher gets.
Hide the ball
Press R1 when you are pitching to hide the ball.
Easy strikeouts
Note: The following trick will not work in All-Star mode. Throw your fastball at full power and a breaking pitch (slider or curveball). If you have a right hander, throw the first pitch high and inside to a batter. Throw the second pitch coming across your body (for example, with a right hander to the right side of screen -- player's right) low and outside/inside depending on the batter (left or right hitter). The first two pitches should both be fastballs. Throw the third pitch as a breaking ball going away from your body (for example, with a right hander to the left side of screen -- players left) low and outside/inside (again depending on batter). Give a little bit of movement towards the end of all these pitches with the Analog-stick. If done correctly, your strikeouts will increase.

Execute three double plays in one game.
Small players
Get over eleven hits in one game.
Fast players
Steal three bases with the same player in one game.

Hold 7 + 8 and press Left, Right, Up, Down, 4 on a game controller. Your next swing will be a homerun on contact, even if it is a bunt.
Home Run Sounds
Press A (air horns), D (whistles) while running around the bases after hitting a home run. Set the Sound FX volume to maximum for best results.
Ea Sports Team
Right click the team at the season or homerun challenge screen to get the EA Sports team (home run challenge). On the season screen, the away team can be the EA Sports team and the home team. If right clicked about six times it will become the World team.
Big Glove
Catch a ball that is going over the fence or make a diving catch.
Huge Glove
Make two diving or wall-climbing catches in a game.
Pulsating Glove
Make three diving or wall-climbing catches in a game
Big Bat
Hit two homeruns in a row with the same player.
Pulsating Bat
Score five runs with the same player in a single game .
Big Ball
Throw three strikeouts in a row with the same pitcher.
Huge Baseball
Throw six strikeouts in a row with the same pitcher.
Flaming Baseball
Throw nine strikeouts in a row with the same pitcher.
Tiny Head
Get sixteen hits in a game with a team.
Pencil Head
Strikeout against the CPU six times.
Big Head
Score four runs in a game with a team.
Huge Head
Score eight runs in a game with a team.
Pulsating Head
Score twelve runs in a game by a team.
Strong Arm
Get two pick-offs, caught stealing, or outfield assists with the same player
Small Players
Get more than eleven hits in a single game.
Fast Players
Steal three bases with the same player in a single game.
Skinny Players
Hit a home-run with a player who weighs less than 150 pounds.
Invisible Players
Hit three triples by a team in a single game.
Tall Players
Get eight hits in a game with a team.
Large Players
Hit one home-run in a game with a player who weighs over 250 pounds.

Make three double plays in a single game.

To get the bonus team (the EA dream team), at the team select screen type 1,2,1,2,crtl.
To get the bonus stadiums, at the stadium select screen type 1,2,1,2,ctrl,2,1.
To make the EA dream team play in their underwear, at the team select screen type 1,2,1,2,shift,ctrl twice and at the stadium select screen type the same code once.
To hit a monster home run, before the pitch is thrown hold down 1,2,3,4 and type up, space, left, right, shift, alt, control. when you swing hit up shift.
To make the crowd boo during the game hold down 1,2,3,4 and type down, ctrl, down, ctrl, ctrl.
To make the crowd cheer during the game hold down 1,2,3,4 and type down, ctrl, down, ctrl, shift.
To make the crowd go "aww" during the game hold down 1,2,3,4 and type down, ctrl, down, ctrl, alt.
