Advanced options
When selecting items on the options menu, hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2.
Perfect run mode
When selecting the "Replay Video" option, press R1.
Quick start
When the yellow light turns on, press X to get a fast acceleration off the starting line. Note: This does not work in "GP mode".
Quick acceleration
While accelerating, hold the reverse button to push any racer to top speed in approximately one second.
Ghost races
When selecting any memory card option, hold R1. Now you will be able to watch or race against the Sony team's best runs.
View FMV sequences
Enter all debug codes. Then when selecting the "Replay Video" option, press R1 + X. Now the twenty FMV sequences within the game may be viewed.
Debug mode
Select Goodies from the main menu, hold L1, L2, R1, or R2 and press Select. Now four numbers will appear in the lower right corner of the screen. The shift buttons must be held in combinations to enter a hexadecimal number in the debug value. Pressing Select accepts that number. R1 = 1, R2 = 2, L1 = 4, L2 = 8. Thus, to enter a debug value of 6, press R2 + L1.

Fighting three opponents instead of four
Note: This must be done under the normal or hard difficulty setting. On the train level when you are fighting the people, defeat one person and jump over the other. Then one more person will appear instead of two.
Fighting two opponents instead of four
Note: This must be done under the normal or hard difficulty setting. On the train level when you are fighting the people, do not defeat anyone and jump over both. Then no more people will appear.
Hidden orange carrot
Note: This must be done under the normal or hard difficulty setting. On the train, when you see the blue carrot, go behind the yellow wall and jump in the middle. You will get a orange carrot.
Getting past the brick section
Note: This must be done under the normal or hard difficulty setting. On the train level, when your at the last brick, jump. When you reach the highest point of your jump, dash.
Faster railroad cart
Repeatedly press X.
Wrecked train
Destroy everything on the big train.

Expert Mode
At the Title screen, press A + Start.
Options Screen
At the Title screen, press B + Start.
Mini Games
Before the Konami Logo appears, hold A + B. Then, at the Press Start screen, press Start.
Extra sport games
At the main screen select password and then enter four buster bunny heads. Youy will then be awarded with three sub-games.

To practice bonus games before jumping into the action, hold Down and the B Button and press Start at the main menu.
Cool Cool Toon
All characters
Successfully complete story mode with Amp and Spica to unlock the twenty seven normal characters. Complete Single Flitz with each of the twenty seven characters to unlock the three bonus characters.
All costumes and bonus song
Successfully complete Single Flitz with all thirty characters.
