If you approach a bookshelf and find that you cannot climb it, press Square on a piece of a wall that is different or lighter color.

To get all the card decks from the beginning of the game, defeat Voldemort four times.
Getting rid of Peeves curse

When you are playing go to the 4th floor and find the statue of the old man. Press A by him and you will get 117 Sicles.
Easy House Points
When you have to get the ingredients for snape go down to Hagrids hut. Then go up up to the greenhouses and talk to prof. Sprout. keep on fighting battles and after each one go and see prof. Sprout. When she gives you a house point go back to hagrids hut and the back to prof. Sprout. Keep on doing this and talk to prof. Sprout each time and she will give you a house point each time too.
Finding the stolen presents
When it's christmas peeves will take your presents. To find them go to the sixth floor and go into the room where the door doesn't creak. Go along this corridor and go through the next door. Check the chests and you should find your presents.
Getting the password for Griffindor
When you have to get the password for griffindor go to the 6th floor and talk to the ghost.Then go to the ground floor and talk to the moving monkey statues. Do this to both and you should get the old school tie. Go back to the 6th floor and talk to the ghost again. He will give you the griffindor password.
Catching the purple rabbit
To catch the purple rabbit that Professor McGonagal sent you to do, go outside of Hogwarts. Walk to the left and right next to the first greenhouse. You will see the purple rabbit. In order to catch it, you first have to fight it.
Getting the Rare Harry Potter Card
Complete the game and get more house points than any other house and dumbledore will give you the rare harry potter card.

House Points Counting Machine
Insert Disc 2 and select the "Tour of Hogwart's" option. Continue at the Dining Hall until you reach the Teacher's Table, with an option of going left, up, or right. Press Down to highlight a sparkling machine to the right of the table. Press Enter to examine the House Points Counting Machine.
Bernie Bott's Every Flavored Beans
Insert Disc 1. Press Right at the main menu to highlight the White Owl. Press Enter to view the clip.
Insert Disc 2. Select the "Diagon Alley" at the opening screen. Solve the brick puzzle and enter. Select the Gringotts sign, then press Down and select the key icon. Press Enter to go into Gringotts. Press Down until the box of Bernie Botts Everyflavored Beans is highlight. Press Enter, then highlight and select any of the four different beans.
Letter Of Introduction
Insert Disc 1. Press Right to highlight the picture of Hedwig to view Harry's Letter Of Introduction for Hogwarts.
Deleted scenes
Insert Disc 2. Select the "Diagon Alley" at the opening screen. Solve the brick puzzle and enter. Highlight the Gringotts sign and press Enter. Then, press Down and select the key icon. Press Enter to go into Gringotts. You should now have money for a wand. Highlight the Ollivander's sign and press Enter. Repeatedly select any box until you get your wand. Return to the main screen, then select "Classrooms" for lessons. Select "Transfiguration" then press Down to select the owls on the torch. Press Up to highlight the "H" on a shield then press Enter. At Fluffy, highlight the Flute and press Enter. At the Keys, highlight the silver one in the middle that has a bent wing and press Enter. Note This is the only key that is completely over the door in the background. At the Bottles (which was not in the movie), highlight the round one with the yellow liquid and press Enter. Highlight the red stone in the mirror and press Enter to view the deleted scenes.
Quidditch
Insert Disc 2 and select the "Tour of Hogwart's" option. Remain at the first stop. Press Left or Right to look towards the fireplace. Press Down to highlight a sparkling painting. Press Enter for a feature about Quidditch.
Brick puzzle
Insert Disc 2. Select the "Diagon Alley" at the opening screen. The following is the solution to the brick puzzle. Note: You will be allowed to pass anyway if you fail the puzzle three times.
Press Left, Up, Up, Enter
Press Up, Enter.
Press Up, Enter.
Press Right, Down, Down, Enter.
Press Down, Enter.
Power Stone 2
Unlock options in extra option menu
Every time basic mode is completed with a different character a new option will be unlocked, until the extra option menu is full.
Play as Pride
Successfully complete basic mode with seven different characters. He looks like an old Fokker, but has different moves.
Play as Mel
Successfully complete basic mode with eight different characters. She is the girl from shop mode and fights similarly to Julia.
100,000 credits for shop mode
If during the course of the game you manage to pick up item #103, which resembles a red turban, sell it for 100,000 credits in shop mode. This item seems to appear randomly.
Full pause screen
Pause the game and press X + Y.
More Arenas
Successfully complete basic mode with all characters, including Mel and Pride to unlock three new arenas exclusive to original mode. To access them, move the pointer left or right at the arena selection screen until it is off-screen. A large box with the "Extra Arena" message will appear. Select the desired extra arena. The arenas are a small room, a very narrow bridge over along drop, and a geometric (cubes stacked in weird patterns) arena.
Shop Mode
At the beginning of the game where the logo Power Stone 2 starts to appear, quickly repeated press Start, X, Y, X, Y, Start, X, X, Start and when you hear a sound of a bird chirping, that means you have recieved all of the items in the shop window.
Use the MegaMan Buster as the Strongest Weapon
When you gain access to the MegaMan Buster, set it to a MiniBook Item(so you have a better chance of getting it). After getting it in the game, hold down the attack button for about a minute (until the light waves turn red). Then shoot, you should be able to get some one out of their transform state(because the shot is so strong).
NOTE: This gun can shoot four times, but when the Gun is fully charged it still has four shots, so dont worry about the gun energy.
Beating the Pharoh Walker
Use a character who is very acrobatic (Falcon works best), then, when fighting the sphinx, try to survive until it crouches down to spin. If you move quickly, you can jump on its' back to avoid the spin, and if you hit the guy in its' tail, you can jump into his seat and use the laser to shoot it in the head, taking up to 1/5 of its' life.
Power Stone
Extra Options
Successfully complete arcade mode as any character under any difficulty setting. An "Extra Options" selection will be available.
Play as Boss characters
Successfully complete the game with all of the characters to unlock Kraken. Successfully complete the game as Kraken to unlock Valgas. Note: To play as Final Valgas, successfully complete the game as Valgas without using continues under any difficulty setting. Enter the page 12 of the Power Stone Collection to see Final Valgas. Note: Final Valgas may only be selected in versus mode, by only one player per match.
Virtua battle mode
Unlock Valgas as a playable character. Virtua battle mode will be available on page 5 in the Power Stone Collection. This mode allows the camera to stay behind your character during a match.
Dual Virtua battle mode
Successfully complete the game as Valgas to unlock this mode on page 6 in the Power Stone Collection. This mode allows a versus mode game to be played with the Virtua battle mode camera angle on each part of the split screen.
Alternate costumes
Press B at the character selection screen.
Bonus items
Successfully complete the game using four characters to unlock a shield, heavy chain gun, ray gun, and extending pole.
Scrap book
Accumulate $1000 or more in the VMS mini-games to unlock a scrap book option on page 13 of the Power Stone Collection.
Sound test
Accumulate $2000 or more in the VMS mini-games to unlock a sound test option on page 25 of the Power Stone Collection.
View ending sequences
Successfully complete the game to access page 14 of the Power Stone Collection. This may be used to view the endings of any character or the game's credits.
Change victory view
Press the D-pad or Analog-stick to change the viewing angle at the end of a match. Press A to move the camera in.
Fight as Orange Hulk
Highlight Chun-Li at the character selection screen. Then, press Right(2), Down(2), Left(2), Right(2), Down(2), Left(2), Up(4), Down(2), Right(2), Up(2), Down(4), Left, Up. Orange Hulk will appear above Ryu.
Fight as Gold War Machine
Highlight Zangief at the character selection screen. Then, press Left(2), Down(2), Right(2), Down(2), Left(2), Up(4), Right(2), Left(2), Down(4), Right(2), Up(2), Left(2), Down(2), Right(2), Up(5). Then, Gold War Machine will appear above Zangief.
Invincibility
Go to extra options (once you beat the game with someone) and turn transformation damage to 0%. Then just go into a match, collect three powerstones and perform the power change. You are invincible as long as you don't attack him. So just throw things at the opponent instead.
Beat Final Valgas in a Snap!
Here is an easier way to beat the Final Valgas. Just simply go under his armpit (as bad as that sounds...) and keep making small attacks. You should be able to kill him before he does you.
The Power Stones
When you complete the game in 1-player, you may open a page in the Power Stone book but this is how you can open all the pages!
Page 1 - nyoi boi
Complete the game with any one character.
Page 2 - machine gun
Do it twice ( different characters ) and you will get the machine gun.
Page 3 - ray gun
Complete the game 3 times with any 3 characters.
Page 4 - power shield
Complete the game 4 times with different characters.
Page 5 - virtual battle
Unlock Krakem by complete it with all the characters and then complete it with Kraken to open this page up.
Page 6 - dual battle
Do the same as Page 5.
Page 7 - Falcon Aerial Adventure
Complete the game with 5 different characters to unlock this VMU mini game.
Page 8 - Ayome's shuriken training
Complete the game with 6 different characters to unlock page 8.
Page 9 - Gunrocks Gun Slots
Very Boring! Complete the game with 7 different characters.
Page 10 - Play as Kraken
Complete the game with all the characters to get Kraken.
Page 11 - Play as Valgas
Beat the game as Kraken to unlock Valgas.
Page 12 - Play as Final Valgas
Beat the game as normal Valgas on the highest difficulty and you can play as Final Valgas. He only can be played in 2 player mode though.
Page 13 - Scrap Book
Get a score of 1000 on the VMU games and you can unlock Page 13.
Page 14 - Movie Theatre
This can be opened by just completing the game with anyone. You will see their endings on this page.
Page 15 - Get 2000 points on a VMU game and you will be able to listen to all the sounds in the game. Woopdee doo!
Super Invincibility
After unlocking all the "Extra Options" highlight "Guage Timer" and put it on Off. Then highlight "Transformation Damage" and put this on 0%. Then highlight "Transformation Attack" and put this on 200%. Now enter a fight and collect all the "Power Stones" you should now be Invincibile and have Super Strength. NOTE: This also works in Power Stone2.
No damage
Enable "Extra Options" code. Enter the extra options screen and set "Transformation Damage" to "0%". Start another match, collect three gems, and transform. Do not use any regular attacks on your opponent after transforming. Instead, throw objects to keep from getting damage.
Play as the final form Valgas
Beat the game with no continues using Valgas and he will appear in your power stone collections page 12 (you can only use him in versus mode)
