Hint: Easy kills
Throw a remote mine on an enemy. If it hits, they will scream and run around instead of shooting you. Let them run around and eventually they will try to find guards. When they do, detonate the bomb to get two or more frags for one.
Hint: Avoid detection
In the single player game, there are two locations where you have to be stealthy. One is when you pretend you are a businessman and the other is when you have to pretend to be a scientist. To make it easier to avoid detection from guards or other pedestrians, always look down or away from people. No one will learn your identity until you look them in the face.
Hint: Getting items
When low on energy, kill worker doctors and even Red Faction men to pick up more health and Environment Suits.
When Hendrix first starts talking to you, go down the catwalk away from the APC. There should be a tunnel that leads to a miner and guard fighting. Shoot that guard then shoot the one at the elevator. Stand in front of the elevator and face the wall behind it. Look up slightly to see a hole. Enter the hole and at the end is a pond or lake. At the bottom of the pond is a miner's body, health, and an Environment Suit.
Hint: Saving ammunition
When you have remote explosives, do not use up ammo for your other weapons. It only takes one to a few remote explosives to take out enemies. When you start the game and get to the part where you see the four troopers and the enemy APC, throw a bomb down by the APC. Detonate it and the bomb will blow a huge hole in the ground. If done correctly, the APC will fall in and explode when it hits bottom. Take advantage of the geo-modification of this game. This also works with groups of enemy soldiers.
Hint: Badlands: Bottom of level
In this level, there are natural bridges over a giant pit which if you fall, you will usually die. Use the following trick to get to the bottom without dying. This will be difficult if you have more than two bots. It is recommended that you try this alone first. Find the rocket launcher that is next to a bridge. Go on the bridge and face the flat wall that leads to the bottom. At a 45 degree angle, start blowing holes downwards until you have almost reached the bottom. You now have to jump and try to make it into the first hole you created. .You will lose some health here from the fall. Once you are there, go backwards out of the hole and slowly drop down to the next hole. Repeat this pattern until you get to the bottom. Save at least 1 rocket so you can kill yourself -- the bots will not be able to get to you. This is difficult to do when playing against bots because of them shooting at you. Set the timer to 30 minutes. Take a lot of weapons such as the Rail Driver and the Sniper Rifle with you. Start blowing up the natural bridges from the bottom. Do not do it completely, but just enough to watch all the bots plunge to their deaths.
Hint: Blasted Canyon: Sniper hole
You will start in one of the two blue boxes on the sides. Use a rocket launcher to tunnel down. Take about two shots in the back, then down about two to three shots. After that, just shoot out the walls in front (that the windows on the blue gate objects are) until you see light. Peek out and you can see the level below your box. Note: You may die a few times before accomplishing this.
In multi-player mode, select the Blasted Canyon level. When the game starts, look out onto the field and turn right at the wall. Get a rocket launcher and begin blasting the wall. Soon it will be large enough for you too fit in. Get inside, look down, and shoot a rocket (killing yourself). When you go back in, you should be under the floor. Begin blasting out some of the rock under the floor (killing yourself in the process.) After awhile you will have a cave under the floor. If you wish to make a sniper point, blast (under the floor) towards the field. You will soon see light, in which case you should blast open more until you can see the field. Note: Always bring a rocket launcher down with you, in the event you get stuck there is no getting out.
Hint: Feeding Area: Reach next level
When walking through the Feeding Area, go to the edge of the cliff. Look down and you will see ice. You will not be able to jump down. However, blow another hole in the ice closest to the edge, and then jump off. You will be in the water and in the next level.
Hint: Installation XJ5: Hidden pit
In the deathmatch Installation XJ5, you can get outside to the pit. Grab the rocket launcher and jump down, then turn left. Note the archway above. Blast a hole in the wall below the doorway and start building a tunnel straight to the open window. Just going to the archway above and blasting around the window does not work due to an invisible wall. Once you make the tunnel all the way through, you can look down into the pit below, If you drop down, you will always die. Turn to the left or right and blast a hole big enough to jump into (make the hole on the outside of the wall). Jump into the hole, then make another hole directly in front of you but down slightly. Now that you have made another hole, jump into it. Make sure the hole is not too far down, or you will die from the fall. Repeat this process until you have reached the bottom of the pit. Note: It is next to impossible to get back up once you are down there.
Hint: Lobby: Secret roof area
Go to the second level of the Lobby multi-player level and grab the rocket launcher. Walk over to the edge of the balcony and start shooting up towards the wall facing the lobby itself. After enough shots you will dig a tunnel to the roof. Walk through and jump right up. You can shoot out the glass and snipe people down on the second level. There also is a Fusion Rocket Launcher that you can grab.
Hint: Lobby: Hidden items
Go to the four corners on the first level of the lobby after you have obtained the rocket launcher in the muti-player level. Use the rocket launcher on the four corners to find health, enviorsuits, a fusionrocket, a flame thrower, and a rail driver.
Hint: Mercs Base: Entering
After the crash site, you will follow a system of tunnels and ridges filled with enemies (most with heavy machine guns, some with fusion rockets and rail drivers). When you meet the Red Faction miner in the caves, he will say that he will watch your back. At this time you will follow a tall tunnel to a bridge -- you do not want to be on the bridge. Between the miner and the bridge is a turn off that leads to a catwalk going over the bridge. Kill the two gaurds and follow the catwalk until it stops at a hole in the wall. Jump from the catwalk into the hole and follow it until you get the grenades. Use them to kill the turrets and the fusion rocket carrying guard on the other side of the large rock by the grenades. This saves time and health you would have spent trying to fight the guard and the turrets.
Hint: The Shooting Gallery: Avoiding damage
When nearing the end of the game in single player mode, you will have to catch the tram to proceed to the next area. The tram is located immediately after "The Shooting Gallery." In order to avoid fighting most of the guards, equip the Heavy Machine Gun. Next, proceed down the track towards the small door to the left. Inside, kill the guard. Once the other guards stop rushing in and shooting at you, collect the health vial (just behind the desk), dash out of the room, head towards the front right side corner of the train, and duck down immediately. This will prevent gun fire from hitting your character. Stay ducked down until the loading screen appears.
Hint: Roof: Secret area
Get up to the roof easily by looking for the side with a slant. On the second level, shoot about three to four shots to the wall next to the slant. Once on the roof, find the area with the glass. Get to the back wall so you are looking at the glass, where it slants, then run at it. As soon as you hit the slant, jump. This is difficult to accomplish. However, when you are up, you can jump from the top to the small bridge-like place on the side. Make sure you do not stand on the glass to avoid someone shooting it and causing you to fall. From this height you will lose about sixty health from dropping off.
Hint: Warlords: Suicide hole and sniper
Get on top of the roof of a bunker (where the fusion rocket launcher is located). Start blowing out holes in the wall in front, so you can get in. Keep taking out the wall with your mini-rocket launcher at a slant. After a while, you can turn right with your gun and take out the wall so you can see the light -- this takes some time. After you can see the light, look down. Usually you are high up. Jump off to make your self road kill, or take a sniper rifle up and take out opposing players. You can get so high up, that when you look up from the ground the hole will actually be over the cliff and not even on the level. If you get up this high, you can see the map plus cloud-like objects. Do not fall down or you will go into an eternal fall. When this high, your guns will have unlimited ammunition -- hold the fire button to see your gun fire a lot.
Hint: Waste Disposal: Easy kills
In multi-player mode on the Waste Disposal level, swim down under the platform to find a fusion rocket. You can also use mines to blow holes under the doors into the hallway. When bots come by, they will fall into the water for an easy kill.
Hint: Multi-player mode: Bottleneck sniper positions (foxhole)
This trick works very well against bots and players alike. For example, in the DM level "XJ5", there is the grated walkway where the rail driver is on the upper floor. Go down the other end (the one close to the hallway by the Envirosuit armor), and blow a hole in the floor near the grate large enough to get in and duck down inside. Be careful -- if you do it too close to the grated catwalk, then it will also break part of the bottleneck off and expose you from the outer wall, being that it was blown out from the blast. From here, you can use any type of bullet-using weapon with ease. The rail driver is recommended, as it will allow you to duck down in the hole, giving you cover from most of the players/bots, but allowing you to fire at them through the floor/ceiling. This trick also works very well when you back yourself up against an indestructable wall, so you have a full peripheral view of 180 degrees all around, with no danger of being back attacked.

Hint: Secret fishing holes
When you first start a new game, go to the first hole on your left and go to the end of it. There will be a small hole where you will be able to see into. Go forward in the game and get a rocket launcher or mines and return. You will be able to get in the hole, swim, and shoot the fish down inside.
Go out over the pit where there is a group of guards and the tank that will shoot at you if you do not blow up the bridge. Go down the tunnel and it will lead to a open area, where after you kill all the guards, an elevator will come down. Immediately above the elevator is hole that is difficult to see. Go left of the elevator, go up the hill, and go into the hole. It will lead you around until you get to a large open room with a lot of water with fish, bats flying around the roof, plants on the wall, and a dead miner at the bottom (where there will also be Extra Life and Extra Body Armor).
Hint: Secret areas
Immediately after Parker pops Capek's nano-tech shield (during an intermission sequence), you will follow a trail. When you reach the area where a dead guard is on the ground, look to the right. Note the small hole where it looks as though a small animal could fit through. Get an explosive and blow a hole big enough to fit through. Enter it to reach a room. Jump to the center then jump up and down to get a fuel canister and fusion rocket launcher.
When you enter the room immediately after you use the jet to transport Gryphon go to the center room you will see a huge Modulation Droid. Run and dodge the bullets and missiles. Look around the room to find ladders all around leading to the top of the ceiling. Climb the ladders and get to the top. Then, look around to find boxes all around. Go to the boxes and walk into each of them on every side. You will get a lot of ammunition, health, and Enviro-suit repair kits. This should prepare you for the Modulation Droid.
Hint: Easy APC convoy destruction before guard station
Save at least three Big Earl rockets from the beginning of the game from M-4. When you go to the part where Hendrix first contacts you in the tunnel, after about 24 feet, you will reach the catwalk outside with the earthen bridge where the APC and convoy of troops are advancing toward the guard station. Fire one shot near the outer track (the one facing you). After the first shot, the APC will begin to buckle, and tilt down. Since that the track is stuck, fire another shot near the front of the vehicle, closest as possible without hitting the APC. Shoot the next shot again right outside of the outer track, further down from where the first rocket hit. In the process, you burrow a hole big enough for the APC to fall through and go sailing down to the bottom of the Chasm (watch it long enough and see the explosion); or the APC will be immobilized, creating a bit of an obstacle for the soldiers to go around, and provide a very good sniping position. The soldiers will most likely stay on their side of the hole, even if they can walk around it. Beware, as if the APC tilts less than 45 degrees inverted, the small mounted machine gun can still shoot at you -- try to get the front of the APC very deep into the hole you create by shooting it.
Hint: Destroying turrets
Equip remote mines or a rocket launcher. Then, use heat seeking mode to lock on to the turret. Fire away and blast the turret easily. Note: If you are low on rockets and have remote mines, then use them on ceiling turrets.
Hint: Defeating Capek
When you reach Capek's Inner Sanctum, there will be a few guards with heavy armor. Try and take them all out, except for one because as soon as you do, Capek appears. Run to the ramp on the right-hand side of the room and take a right at the top of the ramp to follow another ramp up towards a door. Arm yourself with the Assault rifle and take out the last guard. As soon as you do, Capek appears and Eos blasts through the door where you are standing. Run through the hole she made and you will find health and weapons. Save your game at this point. Then, use the assault rifle to defeat Capek. However, stay away from Eos because if she dies the fight ends. After defeating two of the three guards, run up the ramp to your left and take the gun and ammunition. Then, kill the guard on the opposite side. Capek will immediately descend from above. At this point keep moving -- do not try to fight him, but stay on the ramp. Eos will break through the door where the third guard was located and begin shooting Capek. Quickly run through this door and pick up the sniper rifle and ammunition. Then, back up so that you are out of Capek's sight. When you go back to the doorway, you will see that Capek has ascended back up to where he dropped down from and Eos is running around shooting at him, but he is not firing back. Stay in the doorway, take out the sniper rifle and shoot his protective purple bubble five times -- do not worry, he will not shoot back. After five shots, his bubble will burst, he will drop down to the platform below, and begin shooting at you again. Leave the doorway and begin shooting him with one of your automatic weapons. That combined with Eos' shooting will defeat him easily. Note: As you are running around, stay away from Eos -- if Capek's projectiles miss you, they will hit her and your game will be over. Capek never tries to hit Eos; he just wants you. When you first enter the room were Capek is located, take out all the guards and he will appear. At the same time, a wall will blow open and your girl partner will arrive to help you. At this time Capek will try and hit you with his weapon. Even though your partner is helping, Capek will only shoot at you. Move into an area were you know he will not be able to find you and remain there. Your partner really does hurt Capek when she fires. It may take a few minutes, but if you stay there your partner will take out Capek for you. Note: You might need to return fire.
Hint: Defeating Masako
Masako has some nasty weapons and a shield. The only weapon that can defeat her is the powerful assault rifle. She first attacks with a ship firing rockets and machine guns. Equip the laser to blow it up in one shot. Then Masako herself appears with a shield, just like Capek. However, she uses a precision rifle very fast. Keep moving and destroy her shield with your rifle. Then, keep your rifle armed to kill her. Take her Precision Rounds after she has been defeated.
Hint: Secret sub bay
When you first get the sub, take it down through the tunnel until you exit into the cavern. Look along the wall to your left to find a small crack, that at the correct angle, you can see another tunnel. Yse your torpedoes and break apart the wall around the crack. You will now be able to follow a tunnel that leads to a cave (with bones lying on the ground), and a brand new sub with full health and full ammunition sitting in the middle of a small pond.
Hint: Finding secret areas
Every time you see markings on the wall (for example, posters and paint) in multi-player mode, use something explosive on it. It will lead to a secret area.
Hint: Sniper rifle
Immediately before the abandoned mines is an elevator that goes down toward the abandoned mines. When you go down there, you will find a ladder next to you. When the elevator stops, before it hits the bottom of the pit, grab the ladder and climb up until you reach a hole with some bushes in it. Enter the hole to find a Sniper Rifle and some bullets.
Pokemon Blue / Red
Many Cheats
This cheat will be easier if yo used the FLY to get to Cinnabar Island, and also teach a water pokemon SURF. Teach any bird FLY then get to Cinnabar Island. Then You must go back to Viridian city, talk to the man by the entrance of the Viridan City Gym. when ask you "are you in a hurry" answer "no". After he finishes Fly back to Cinnabar Island go to the eastern coast of the island (where you first surfed onto the island). Then use SURF to move between the land and the water. in case you do not get it your seal should look like he is on land but is not. move up and down for awhile pokemon start appearing (it may take a while). If pokemon start appearing then pause and select ITEMS, switch the item you want with the sixth item in the inventory. press SELECT and make sure that the white arrow is still showing, and also make sure that the sixth item has a number by. now exit out of the pause menu using the B button, surf up and down the now and search for a hidden by the name of Missingno. defeat it (do not catch it)! When ! you see how much gold and points you earned pause again and look at the sixth item, it will either have a symbol by the number or it will show how many you have. i would recommend using this code for things like gold nuggets or rare candy, even TM's. if you want the money go and sell all but one. you should have maximum money!
Unlimited Items
You'll have to be almost completely done with the game to do this cheat, and make sure you hve a flying Pokemon with the technique FLY. Go to Viridian City and talk to the man that had his coffee and select the option [No]. Then he'll show you how to catch a Pokemon. After the review, FLY to Fushia City. Put the item you want to duplicate 6th on the ITEM menu (use the SELECT button). Use a water Pokemon with the SURF ability and swim on the right side shore of the island. Swim up and down the coast until you encounter a Missingno. or a Missing M (you will also encounter Pokemon levels 100-186 but will go back to level 100 after "gaining" a level). Defeat one and the sixth item in your inventory will have an image next to it, which means you have over 200 copies of that item. I prefer to copy Rare candies so that I can make my Pokemon to Level 100 without training but this ruins the fun of the game.
How To Duplicate Items
(You must have beaten the elite four and won the championship and have less than 100 of a item) choose a item that has a number to it like rare candy especially and have it as your sixth item on the item screen (you can move it by pressing select and then moving it to the sixth spot) now go to the guy in the city with giovanni's gym that asks you if you would like him to show you how to catch pokemon select yes and watch when he is done talking immediately fly away to cinnabar island and surf along the east or right side coast and surf up and down that side of the island keep surfing until a thing shows up that says Missing M or Missingo (you may run into pokemon but just run away from them) and fight him or run away but DO NOT catch him (it will mess up your data and saved game) and than after you fight him or run away look at your item screen and look at the sixth item and it will have a number and a picture next to it that means you have over 100 of those items.
2 Ways To Get Mewtwo And Other Pokemon
One way to get mewtwo is defeat the game and then go on to the cave and catch him. The other way (you must have beaten the game first) go to the where giovanni is the gym leader and talk to the guy that asks if you want him to show you how to catch pokemon select yes and watch when he is done talking fly to cinnabar island and go the east coast and surf up along the coast keep going up and down and you will find after a while mewtwo and you can catch him. (Mewtwo will be around level 155) There will also be other pokemon like snorlax and all the rest in the version.
Free Max Potion
To get a free max potion go to the 9th floor in the Silph Co. Building and stand in front of the lady that heals your Pokemon. Face the bed to your left and press A. There should be a max potion there.
(Note: You can only use this cheat once per Game.)
The Invisible PC
In the hotel in Celedon City where the woman says its not a pokemon hotel, go to the far right where a PC would be and press A. You should be working an invisible PC.
Extra Coins
In the Celedon gambling corner, ask various people at the machines, and some will give you money, and if that's not enough, scroll all around the whole floor pressing A at every tile, and you should stumble accross several coins. You can find 10, 20, even 100 coins.
Just For Your Info
If you go through most of the game and don't get on the S.S.Ann, (it's possible, trust me) collect surf. Come back to the S.SAnn, flash the ticket, and when it goes to the small screen, surf off into the water. You can surf all around the S.S.Ann and go on the the decks. On the top right deck, you should find a poorly drawn truck. There is no reason fr this truck to be there, becuse it doesn't do anything. You can't move it with Strength either. It's probably just something to confuse you.
Safari on Cinnibar
That's right. Enter the Safari Zone and walk around a bit. Exit, and then Fly to Cinnibar Island, and Surf up and down the right coast of it, and you should run into Safari Zone Pok?mon. Now you can run into Tauros, Scyther, Kangaskhan, Chansey, Rhydon, etc. and hurt them or catch them with an ultraball to make it easier so they can't run from you.
Make an '?'
The way you can make an ? when typing, as in Pok?mon, hold down Alt, and press 0,2,3,3 on the numerc keypad. See? ?!
Change The Color Scheme
To change the color o the game, when you first turn the game on, and it says "Gameboy Color", press Select and B, or Select and A or down or up or up and down or up and B. There are different color combinations you can make. It doesn't cahnge what Pok?mon are found in the game, though.
Pok?mon Pop Quiz
When you go to Blaine's Gym on Cinnibar Isl., enter, and see those little machines by the trainers that look like cassette tapes? Well, go in front of it and press A to take a pop quiz. If you answer the question right, you won't have to fight the trainer. You can bypass almost every trainer in there this way. I know the answers, but I won't tell. I'll let you decide to see if you're a tue Pok?mon master.
Unlimited items
You probably know this one, but incase you don't, or you need a better discription, I'll tell you. To get your items duplicated, go to Veridian City and go north and talk to th little man who shows you how to cacth Pok?mon, and answer NO to hiis question. After his 'lesson', Fly to Cinnibar Isl. and walk to the right edge. Surf up and down the coast of the right edge until you run into Missingno. He's a glitch in the game, so pay no mind to him. Don't catch him, because if you do, there is about a 90% chance your game will mess up. Just fight him or run. Make sure the item you want duplicated is in the sixth slot of your item box. You can have unlimited rare candies, iron, calcium, master balls, pok? balls, escape ropes, whatever. Not keys or bikes or rods or anything like that though. Just power ups and balls, and helpy items.
Missingno trick
You can find find LV.0 or LV.80 or LV.184 Missingno's. He has VERY low defense. If you do want to catch him, he knows Water Gun, Sky Attack, and Water Gun again. Yup, 2 Water Guns. You can catch him adn then after you do, an invisible one will still be there. The invisible one evolves into Ditto. The first one evolves into Kangaskhan. Feed a Missingno a rare candy and it will evolve into a Ditto or a Kangaskhan, depending on which one you caught. Missingno can learn Strength, Fly, and Surf. So you could have a flying, surfing Kangaskhan or Ditto.
Defeat Blaine in water
First, go to Viridian city and talk to the guy that shows you how to catch pokemon and answer "yes" to his question. Then Fly to Cinnabar Island and surf east from the poke' center. Surf up and down alot until you get to him. He'll pop up just like a pokemon would. He will have Missingno and other wierd pokemon like that. They are all at level 32.
NOTE: You will have to almost be done with the game.
How to get Mew
You must start a new save file and proceed into the game until you reach professor Oak. The professor will give you your first pokemon to train, and it will have a name other than mew (bulbasaur, charmander, squirtle). Once you receive the pokemon, it will ask you to nickname the character. Name the pokemon mew and it will be listed as the 151st pokemon in the pokedex as "mew 151st." The pokemon will show up and fight as mew from this point on.
99 of the 6th item
To get 99 of the sixth item, go to your items by pressing start and put something in the sixth item slot. Then go to Viridian City and talk to the by the Gym that shows you how to catch a Weedle. When he ask if your in a hurry say no and he will show you how to catch a pokemon. Then fly to Cinnabar Island and when you apear infront of the pokemon center don't move down or left, just move right all the way over to the water then surf. Next surf up and down. Stay closest to the land and you should run into a Missingno.(WARNING DONT CATCH IT. IF SO THE GAME WILL MESSUP AND DELEAT POKEMON.)Instead run to land and look at ur sixth item it should have a (symbol)9.It means you have 99 of that item. You could do this with nuggets and sell them for 999,999 dollars but if you wont more cash save one nugget and repeat the process. Missingno is part of the system is looks like a bar code when u see it. Missingno is the save,grapic,pokemon control if cought the game will messup! So be careful!
Capture Legendary Pokemon
Give the legendary pokemon an effective status problem besides confusion then get their life down to the last bit of life. Now use you're Ultra Balls or Master Ball. If you're fighting Mewtwo use you Master Ball, but you have to get them in red on the life bar and you have to give them a status problem no matter what if you don't and you didn't copy the Master Ball. Then you can can use Ultra Balls, they work too. Also make sure you have room in your box.
Pokemon over level 100
Fly to Cinnabar Island, walk right. Then Surf up and down on the black line sometimes ypu'll find over level 100 pokemon! I even found a level 132 Mewtwo once and caught it, Pokemon on the black line do not erase your game, except Missingo does mess up your game if you catch him/her. Just to warn you he/she looks like a bar code and is black / pink / purple / white. Just to warn you about him/her.
Get Mew
To get Mew you must have every HM on the Pokemon in your party without going on the S.S. Anne (trade from other games) and go to the platform in front of the S.S. Anne. Surf to the right until you see a truck. Push it aside and you will find Mew.
Going Fishing
When you use a fishing rod(SUPER ROD, GOOD ROD, AND OLD ROD)press the A button mutiple times until your fishing rod appears in your charachter's hand. Then press the B button over and over. You'll have a 90 percent chance of catching something.
How to get the three starters
Blue: You must choose squirtle as your starter or else this cheat would not work.To get bulbasaur, after you defeat misty, go to the daycare center and a bulbasaur would be there. To get charmander then, go up to nugget bridge and the first square. Then press start. Go to your pokemon and go to your squitle and go to its attacks. Then, as fast as you can, keep on pressing B until you are playing the game.Save here and immediately off your gameboy. Turn it on again . Charmander would be there.
Defeating Nidorino
In battle, Nidorino uses Focus energy to increase its power before attacking. Use that pause to attack it.
Get mew without a gameshark code
Red: When you first get to vermillion city do NOT get cut from the captain on the s.s.anne. Instead trade a pokemon with a freind to get a pokemon that knows cut. Carry on with the game until you get hm surf and hm strength then go back to vermillion city. enter the harbour and look at the s.s. anne. Go right and surf across the water. Carry on going right until you see a lorry use strength and push the lorry out of the way. you will find a pokeball. Get it and inside it will be mew.

Calcium-to increase speical powers.
Carbos-to increase speed.
Protein-to increase attack strength.
Iron-to increase defense strength.
How to make Pokemon obidient
Cascade badge - Up to level 30 Pokemon will list to you.
Rainbow badge -Up to level 50 Pokemon will list to you.
Marsh badge-Up to level 70 Pokemon will list to you.
Earth badge-All pokemon will listen to you.

Getting an Aerodactyl
You must clone it in the Pokemon lab using old amber from the Pewter City museum.
Getting an Omanyte
You have to get a Helix fossil from defeating a supernerd- on Mt. Moon. Then you'll have to bring it to Cinnabar island.
Getting a Mr. Mime
Go out the hous along route 2,just outside Veridian City. Someone will trade a Mr.Mime for an Abra.
Getting Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan
If you can defeat Karate Master in his gym, he may give you your own Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan.
Defeating Ghost Pokemon
Whenever you have to face a ghost Pokemon, use th following elements against it:
Poison
Ground
Rock
Ghost
Getting a Farfetch'd
A trader in Vermillion City will give you a Farfetch'd in exchange for a Spearow.
My way to beat the Elite 4!
To beat the elite 4 my way easy all you have to do is start out With Charmander and level up only Charmander. And when your at the Elite 4 your Charmander should be at level 60-40.Teach it Flamethrower, Slash, Earthquake, and Hyper beam. It will be invincible! Oh and Your Charmander should be a Charzard.
Blue: How to get raticate, pidgeotto and other pokemon
If you have surf and fly, fly to pallet town and then surf south, not all the way. Until you see a grassy area, go there and you can catch some level 20-30 pokemon. This is some pokemon I found out you can catch:
-pidgeotto
-raticate
-tangela
-fearow

For 25 Silent Runnings hold A+B then press LEFT, RIGHT on the mission screen.
