Various Cheats

Enter any of the following "Names" as a name. If done correctly, you will hear "Hey, no cheating" spoken:

ICHEAT = All Boards, Boarders, Mountains

IMSPECIAL = All Special Items

Shortcut through Colorado

This is an easy way to get through Colorado. When you get to the part with patches of deeper snow,around the third or fourth patch, there should be a place with a lot of trees. Weave through those trees, and there should be a railroad track. Grind on that track and after a while, look at your position and you should be in first place.(Unless there is somebody is in front of you,which is most likely)I'm not promising that you will win every time, but it helps to break the time record.

Slope Style Secret in Vermont

On the right side of the course, between the ramp with two rocks in front of it and the ramp with the green pole in front of it, there is a group of trees, you can grind on the fallen tree to reach the secret tunnel.

Play as Fast Eddie

Complete rookie on trickmaster to unlock Fast Eddie.

Unlock Extra Mountain

When you go to the tournament name enter in "NEWHILL" and get an extra mountain.

Control replay

Hold R1 or R2 and press Down to stop a replay. Hold R1 or R2 and press Left for slow-motion. Hold R1 or R2 and press Right to display the replay quicker.

Play as a Bear

Break every record in France and complete the special event to unlock the Bear.

Play as a Snowman

Break every record in Japan and complete the special event to unlock the Snowman.

Mystery character

Complete the Colorado Tournament with Jimmy Hallop. "Cool Man" will be heard as a confirmation.

Cool Boarders 3

Control replay

During a replay, hold Left to switch to slow motion or hold Down to pause.

Director's cut

Enter "SHOWPOS" as a name in tournament mode.

Play as Burg

To get Burg, unlock every player, every board, and every track. Play single event, powder hill downhill. Get in first place with more than 3400 points.

New Boards and Characters

To get new boards and characters, start a Single Race at Pro level and beat the record shown at the bottom of the screen (eg. Come in first with 5000 pts.)

Game Completion Date

At the screen that reads one player or split screen press L1, L2, R2, R1. A screen will pop up the shows the date the game was completed.

Fast Eddie

To earn FAST EDDIE you must complete the mountain POWDER HILL in frist place and with 3,400 points of more.

Cheat Codes

At the Tournament screen enter your name as these:

wonitall -- All tracks

open_em -- All riders

bigheads -- Big heads

openemall -- All boarders and boards

showpos -- Director's cut

Big heads Little heads

Enter your name as "bigheads" at the Tournament screen. When you enter the "bigheads" code you can press L2 to shrink their heads or R2 to make their heads bigger.

View Creation Date

At minute with one player/multi-player split screen options, press L1+L2+R1+R2.

Control Cameras

While playing a game, press Select to choose from multiple close-up views.

Play as Mars

Select Devils Butt, then select half pipe,and get more than 3400 points.

X=jump

Circle=multi flip

Triangle=multi moves

X after jump=multi moves

R1=punch right

L1=punch left

R2=switch position

L2=brakes

R2 after jump=spin right

L2 after jump=spin left

Left+circle= misty

Right+circle= rodeo

Unlock everything

In career mode, enter your name as GIVEALL.

Alternate Clothing

At the "Competition, Freestyle, etc." highlight competition and press down, r1, up, r1, down, r2, up, r2, up, r1, down, down, r2. Then goto freestyle. Irin and Cindy will have different clothes.

All Tracks

Highlight Board park, Option, Free ride, One make, SBC, Half pipe, then finally Free ride. Press Circle while on Free ride, then when the 1 or 2 player choice appears, hold L1, L2, R1, R2 and press Circle.

Extra Levels in Freestyle Mode

To get all of the levels in Freestyle mode, just beat the Tour Competition in Mirror mode and come in first place. (This also lets you play Boss.)

Monster Air

When you enter the board park, go all the way until you reach the ramps with the cars and trucks all around. After you pass one of the ramps, turn around and jump back up the hill. Repeat this until you hit the backside of the ramp. If you do it correctly you can get some pretty high air! It might take a while to do, but if you practice a lot you can even hit the roof of the game and you can do grabs and flips in the air.

Monster Spins

If you want to pull some incredable rotations do the following: (you'll need gray the alien)

(1) Drop into the pipe holding left or right out of the gate until you get to the part of the ramp where the incline begins. You will get a little ammount of air, you will go up and come straight down. (you should be facing down the pipe when you let go of left or right)

(2) Right when you land hold X and LEFT or RIGHT

(3) Hold the direction and X as long as possible, you'll want to do it to take as long as possible. (you're turns will pretty much be straight back and forth through the pipe)

(4) When you want to, let go of X and watch (keep holding over)

Play as The Boss

To play as The Boss, complete Mirror mode in first place.

Play as the Alien

To play as the Alien all you have to do is score a 38.0 or better in the halfpipe or complete all 100 moves in ONEMAKE jump.

Play as the Snowman

to obtain the Snowman you must break all the records in FREERIDE mode.

Stop the Music

While playing, press START rapidly until the music keeps playing at the PAUSE screen. When you hear the music, press START again to resume play in peace and quiet

Shortcuts

In Take It Easy, before the tunnel, you can avoid the big s-turn by going through the forest and jumping over the gap.

In Pipeline Canyon, after the second jump, you should see a pipe going across the canyon. You can grind on that.

In Freezing Point, before the big u-turn you can enter the forest on the left right before the blue fence.

In Snow Ruins you can enter the shortcut by going between the two right pillars.

In Dive into the cave, to the left of the second fork, you can go through a waterfall. You do this by jumping up onto the ledge before the first left turn. Also you can go to the right and grind up the ledge to get to it.

Bonus Boards

Enter Freestyle mode with all the tracks. Then, set the top record on all the tracks.

High-Pitched Announcer

At the Options screen, press Select 40 times.

Snowman

Before you can do this code you have to beat the special stage. After you beat the special stage in all three categories you will have access to the snowboarder "Snowman". Start a new game, then choose the best Alpine board by pressing Up, Circle, and Triangle.

Special Course

To access the special course, beat every course in all categories (best time, best tricks, and most points.)

Bonus characters

Complete the various challenges to unlock Tara, Nate, Replay, Max and more bonus characters. Successfully complete all hard downhill gates to unlock Le'Monjello, Burg, Tex, and Gray.

Bonus event

Successfully complete all events to unlock the Triple Crown Event.
