Press up, and keep the balance steady. If you did it right, you should beat the goal.

Garbage Day
In the first level, jump in the garbage truck. When you come back out a whole bunch of garbage trucks will be going past. You will see nothing but money above the trucks. Ramp off the trucks to get the cash. You only have a certain amount of time so grab as much as you can.
Get all gold medals
Go to the options menu, then to code and type in neverboard, or 4juice.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 reference
In Build Park mode, one of the themes' background resembles the Los Angeles level from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3.
When in the Los Angeles themed level, find the rail that goes along side the fence. Grind it, and stop when you get to a orange-red car. It is the car from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 that was driving around with music.
Play as Eddie
Spend $9,000 at the store.
Play as Daisy
Spend $100,000 at the store after finding all gaps and getting a 100% completion.

Huge Combos
Enable the "Matrix mode" and "Moon gravity" codes for huge combos.
Hint

Pacman Car
If you get all 320 cars, the Pacman car will appear as the 9th car in your garage! You will also get a new music track, "Eat Em Up."
Extra Trial Mode
You get Extra Trail mode when you bet Gran Prix mode the first time. In Extra Trail mode you can get 16 of the 320 cars in the game.
Four player mode
Connect two PlayStations via a link cable. A "Link Battle" mode that allows a simultaneous four player game will appear.
Turbo (Japanese version)
Press L2 + R2 during game play.
Rage Racer information:
Use a memory card with a saved game file from Rage Racer to place your old team information on the cars in Ridge Racer Type 4.
Soundtrack
Play the game disc in an audio CD player. The voice and music from the game can be heard on tracks two through nine. To hear additional music from the game, listen to tracks two and above on the turbo mode disc.

Namco Museum Volume 4
Return Of Ishtar
Enter the Museum and go to the Return Of Ishtar area. Quickly press Right, Left, Up, Down, and Circ. A new version of the Return of Ishtar game will begin.
Alternate Introduction
Hold L1 + R1 when the Namco logo scrolls past while the game is loading. The FMV introduction sequence from the Genji and Heiki Clan will be displayed.
Assault Plus
Go into the museum and from the information booth, go right and up the stairs. Now, turn to the left and you will see a room called the X-Room. Go in and hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Up together. With these held, press Triangle. You will hear a sound and the room will flash white for a second. A woman will appear. Move in front of her and press X. She will disappear and you will be left with the pedestal in the middle of the room and the words Assault Plus flashing above it. Access the pedestal and the arcade game will be the new Assault Plus game.

Play as james bond (weapon is a gun)
First go to arcade mode and highlight jonny cage then hold start and press HK 3 times then select him as you progress to the game you will be james bond. Cool huh?
Noob Saibot
Start a two player game.Do the Noob Code(012-012).Win with either player,make sure to continue.Now,repeat what you did with Goro.Select hidden with the Run button,hold it,go up to Reiko,then press and hold Block along with Run.
Goro
At the select screen,select the"hidden"option with the run button,and keep holding run. Move up to Shinnok and,while still holding run,select Shinnok with the Block button.Keep holding BL and RN until the round starts,and you are Goro!
Play as Goro or Noob Saibot
For either of these to work,you must first beat the game with Shinnok & Reiko.
Play as Meat
Choose group mode and play against all 15 characters in 2 player mode.After finishing with the last character which is
Sonya,your next character will be Meat.Meat has the previous character's moves.
Alternate costumes
Press Start and any button to rotate the select screen pictures two times to enable each character's second costume, except for Sonya and Tanya. The select screen pictures must be rotated three times for those characters.
Cheat Menu
Enter Kombat Kode 302 213 at the player vs. screen. Exit this match and enter the options menu. Highlight "Versus Screen Enable" and hold Block+ Run for ten seconds.
Noob Saibot
Finish the game with Reiko and then go to vs battle and enter the kombat kode... 012 012. Then exit the match and go to player select screen higlight hidden and press run and then finally, highlight Reiko still holding run and then press block.

Shortcut through Colorado
This is an easy way to get through Colorado. When you get to the part with patches of deeper snow,around the third or fourth patch, there should be a place with a lot of trees. Weave through those trees, and there should be a railroad track. Grind on that track and after a while, look at your position and you should be in first place.(Unless there is somebody is in front of you,which is most likely)I'm not promising that you will win every time, but it helps to break the time record.
Slope Style Secret in Vermont
On the right side of the course, between the ramp with two rocks in front of it and the ramp with the green pole in front of it, there is a group of trees, you can grind on the fallen tree to reach the secret tunnel.
Play as Fast Eddie
Complete rookie on trickmaster to unlock Fast Eddie.
Unlock Extra Mountain
When you go to the tournament name enter in "NEWHILL" and get an extra mountain.
Control replay
Hold R1 or R2 and press Down to stop a replay. Hold R1 or R2 and press Left for slow-motion. Hold R1 or R2 and press Right to display the replay quicker.
Play as a Bear
Break every record in France and complete the special event to unlock the Bear.
Play as a Snowman
Break every record in Japan and complete the special event to unlock the Snowman.
Mystery character
Complete the Colorado Tournament with Jimmy Hallop. "Cool Man" will be heard as a confirmation.
Bust-A-Move 4
Another world
At the title screen, press Triangle, Left, Right, Left, Triangle.
