Course for greater success

Play and complete the World Tour. When you power up, put your points mostly into "Power", Power Boost",

and "Putting". Next complete the scenarios. Power up as desired. Gold medals bring in $75,000 to $100,000. Silver medals bring in $50,000 to $75,000. Bronze medals bring in $35,000 to $37,500. If you complete the above, "Tournaments", "Real-Time Events", and the other options for game play become easy.

If you missed a "Real-Time Event" or want to jump ahead to another "RTE", change the Xbox system date to whatever date the "RTE" is to be played on. Save the game after you win the event, and you can restore the correct date.

Easy goals

When you have the puck, swing around the opponent's net. If the goalie is on the other side, then shoot with back hand shot. Note: This best works with two players, so that other person can distract the goalie. Use the following trick to get an easy goal about 75% of the time. Take the puck down the ice very fast with your winger (either side works). Stop at the goal line at the board. Make sure that nobody comes and picks the puck from you. Your center man will most likely be standing directly in front of the goal. Wait until you have a clear pass to him then do a one-timer and he will score. You will probably have to move around a lot to get the open slot, and to keep from getting picked off.

Bouncing puck

Go to game settings menu and adjust the "Puck Friction", "Puck Gravity" and every option you can adjust on that screen that has to do with the puck. Go to a game and shoot the puck down the ice. If it does not hit the goalie, the puck should be bouncing all over the place until it runs out of speed.

Getting good players

In dynasty mode, rack up on draft picks by signing unwanted free agents and trading them to random teams for draft picks. Doing this also earns you GM experience points.

Get The Best Rookie Scouting

Ok, this is how it goes. After you get alot of upgrade points from say winning the Stanley Cup, save the game. Then, use ALL available points on the Scouting Coloum. Then go to the Scouting Repot Page page under GM office and look to see who the best players to draft are. Then don't save the game just go to exit dynasty and then youl back at the home page. Go back in to Dynasty Mode and see if you can scratch a deal to get you the first overall pick. Then you can use all those upgrade points for something else say Medical. Then in the draft you know who the best player will be. Don't forget: their potental is very important too! Believe me, it always works.

To unlock all teams, enter "sportxsn" as a code.

Easy defense

For the best defense, use the "Punt Return" then move the player standing at the back waiting for the kick forward.

Easy sacks

When you are playing defense, take your defensive left end and move him to right end so that there will not be anyone covering him. You can also do the same thing with your right defensive end by moving him to the left end. Go to the "Goal Line" formation then go to the first play "Pick Available". Next, choose one of the following: G L Safety blitz, G L Corner Blitz, or G L Middle Blitz. You can now get easy sacks with your defensive backs.

Hint

For an easy sack that works most of the time, select the 3-4 defense. Next, pick the 3-4 Bear set. The play is under this set and is entitled "34 1 LB Blitz". On the field, select the linebacker that is head up the left offensive guard. Move him slightly to the right. On the snap of the ball, blast through the line between the guard and center. This works best with a speedy linebacker, as a slow one might allow time for a lineman or a running back to block him.

Facing Up The Ball Carrier

In order to face up the ball carrier, hold the Right Analog-stick Down. Your player will drop into an aggressive defensive stance. From here, you have full mobility with your player using the Left Analog-stick.

3-point Shooters

Play as Connecticut and use the SG #4 or SF #33. They might not make the first few, but once you start making them they will be on fire.

More Effective Defense

To have a more effective defense, use a 1-2-1-1 Full Court Press. You can press Left for a defensive quickplay. If the team you are playing with does not have this play when you choose to use it, pause game play and go to 'Playbook', then 'Defensive Quickplays', and choose the play.

Quick Steal

As the opposite team is about to pass the ball, guard the person that you think they are going to pass it to and keep tapping X. As soon as they pass the ball, your player will grab it.

Easy Wins

Go to settings and place your three pointer shots bar all the way up. You might miss one or two, but your centers will be able shoot them.

Created Players For Full Teams

If you want to create a custom player (such as yourself) for a school, but the team is to full, go to 'Edit Players'. Edit someone on the team that you want to play for. You will be a senior, but at least you will get to play for a year.

After one year, create a prospect before your season is over and you can convince your player to join you.
