Dibble ball while at the free throw line

To dribble the ball at the foul line hit the square button before shooting the ball.

Make the computer toss the ball out of bounds

While the computer is passing the ball from one half of the court to the other press start and wait about 3-5 seconds. Then unpause it and the ball should go out of bounds. This will not happen all the time only if you time it just right.

Go from Rookie Cars to Pro Cars

Win at all locales at least all three times unitl you beat all the locales including the EA Cup. Note: Don't forget to race against the legends in the legend championship. Also go to Standard Championship to get first place in all three tracks in all six locales.

Race as Davey Allison

Start a season and win the first four poles and races to unlock Davey Allison.

Track

Start a race at Charlotte. Then go five times around the finish line. A dirt track will appear in the infield.

Driver's wave

Race with an automatic and race with drivers view. Hold select down and the driver will wave.

Secret Car

In the first menu go to Single Race. Then go down to select track. Pick the Richmond track. Then go to select car. Press R2 two times then press L1 two times then L2 two times then press R1 two times then press R1 then L1. The Benny Parsons car will come up.

Waving Racers

First go into the view so you can see the driver holding the steering wheel. Next hold down triangle for 2 seconds.

Turbo Mode

At the Options screen, hold Circle then press Up, Left, Down, Right. A new option will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Pinnacle Car

You can only do this trick in exhibition mode. Go to the Race Setup/Car Select screen and highlight the Bobby Labonte car. Then hold X then press Up, Down. Note: You will lose this car if you leave Exhibition Mode.

Machine Gun Fire

As soon as the green flag drops, go to the race statistics screen in the options menu. Hold L1, L2, R1, R2, and triangle until a motor sounds. Then release everything. To shoot, press square.

Faster Car

Go to the Car Setup Screen. Put the pressure all the way up, the wedge all the way down, the rear spoiler all the way down and the gear ratios all the way up.

EA Sports Car

Go to the Exhibition Mode. Select the Race Setup/Car select Screen and highlight the Kenny Wallace car. Hold X and press Up and Down on the D-Pad.

Paintball Mode

Pause the game during a race (after the green flag). Select Race Statistics. Press and hold R1, R1, L1, and L1 simultaneously. You should hear an engine sound. Resume the race and press Triangle to fire paintballs that destroy your opponents.

Shoot paintballs

Pause the game and display the race statistics screen. Then, hold L1 + R1 + L2 + R2. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear the sound of an engine. Now resume the game and press Triangle to shoot paintballs at other cars.

Pinnacle Trading Cards car

Go to the car selection screen in exhibition mode and highlight Bobby Labonte's car. Then, hold X and press Up, Down.

EA Sports car

Go to the car selection screen in exhibition mode and highlight Kenny Wallace's car. Then, hold X and press Up, Down.

Increase frame rate

At the options screen, hold Circle and press Up, Left, Down, Right. If you entered the code correctly, a new option that increases the game's frame rate will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Waving driver

While driving, select the view in which the driver and steering wheel are visible. Then, hold Triangle until the driver waves.

Black Box Classic car

Win the Short Track Challenge to unlock the Black Box Classic car.

Black Box Exotic car

Win the Half Season to unlock the Black Box Exotic car.

EA Sports car

Win the Road Course Challenge to unlock the EA Sports car.

Win the Superspeedway Shootout on either the veteran or legend difficulty settings.

Treasure Island track

Win a season on the veteran difficulty setting.

Camera Lock

This trick will lock the camera behind your ship. To activate, pause the game and press Circle, Square, Triangle, Triangle, Circle, Square, Triangle, Start.

Full Shields

Pause the game and press Select, Circle, Right, Up, Up, L1, L1, X.

Move Enemies and Obstacles

This code will add some variety to the game by moving the enemies and obstacles in each tube. To enter it, pause the game and press R1, R1, Up, Circle, Square, Triangle, L2, X. The change will take effect on the next level.

Return Of Ishtar

Enter the Museum and go to the Return Of Ishtar area. Quickly press Right, Left, Up, Down, and Circ. A new version of the Return of Ishtar game will begin.

Alternate Introduction

Hold L1 + R1 when the Namco logo scrolls past while the game is loading. The FMV introduction sequence from the Genji and Heiki Clan will be displayed.

Assault Plus

Go into the museum and from the information booth, go right and up the stairs. Now, turn to the left and you will see a room called the X-Room. Go in and hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Up together. With these held, press Triangle. You will hear a sound and the room will flash white for a second. A woman will appear. Move in front of her and press X. She will disappear and you will be left with the pedestal in the middle of the room and the words Assault Plus flashing above it. Access the pedestal and the arcade game will be the new Assault Plus game.
